As some of you know, my old PC got fucked up and I couldn't remove all my files, music, programs etc. over to my laptop. Therefore I have to install and download everything again. I've just installed Quake III, but I have one problem:

When I click W+A/D ("Move forward" + "Move R/L"), and move my mouse either to the right or to the left, the sensitivity settings decrease. It gets much slower and I can't strafe nor generally move my mouse to the left or to the right while I press W.

Does anyone of you know what I can do?

did you try uninstall mouse drivers and try it again?

well maybe!!! Smug i am not sure if u changed m_yaw and m_pitch, look if u put . then , on of them or so Smug
try to rate it to 500hz and so on all the available mouse fixes Confused

I just played a bit offline and it might be because of the combination of the accel and sensitivity.
I used to have /cl_mouseaccel 1.56 and /sensitivity 2, when i do these combinations as told above (when the mouse goes slow), the accel disappears (it goes to Innocent. While not doing those combinations, the accel is what I've set it to be. Is there a way to solve this? Confused

Ps! It happens everytime, doesn't matter if the sensitivity is 5.

And I have another problem, usually a q3config.cfg will appear after you play
e+/q3, right? I'm not 100% sure, but anyways, no q3config.cfg comes to me. Everytime I I restrart quake, the settings goes back to the basic ones.

Startar du quake som vanligt, klart den laddar deafult.cfg
Jag antar att du startar quake först som vanligt. Och sen därinne går du in till mod och laddar excessiveplus.
Men starta excessive direkt då laddas din förinställda e+ cfg.
Kolla din eplus mapp efter den där cfg:n

Bruker e+.exe når jeg skal spille excessiveplus, men som du sier så burde en automatisk e+ config komme, men det er det den ikke gjør fordi det ikke er noen der. Thinking
