Hello everyone,

A small problem I have. When I play Q3A I hear a lot of those catchy prhases from the Radio Chat. However when I type them into the console using the T button to talk, it doesn't work (nor I can't hear most of them). Mind you I can hear "No-Way" "Follow-Me" "Need Defense Now" "Need Escort"

Any help or step by step instructions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

Thanks for information and help so far. So if I understand correctly I enter these into the console by using the talk(chat) key and enter the exact words such as "i will hold this position"?

Now how do I get the .wav files to work in the Q3F Radio Chat?

Thanks
Mark

You can also directly edit your q3config.cfg (using any text editor like Notepad) in your quake iii arena/excessiveplus/ directory. The format is pretty intuitive by itself, binds are all regrouped on the top of it, just add/change to new one. For someone not used with manual editing, using the console (~ key) is as fine Winking Welcome by the way, Canadian fellow Happy

always back up your q3config.cfg before editing.

also create an autoexec.cfg which is easier to create the variables you want instead of scrolling through a mass of text.
