Problem with thru shoots
I know i'm not only who have this same problem.
So in game when you hit the enemy but it goes thru from it and no kill and no kill score. For example today i hit the enemy and it didn't kill and even the wall left no trace of the rail shoot. So can someone explain where this problem is due to? And is this problem somehow be remedied? It was tolerable in 1.7 version but in this 1.8 version it is much more annoying.
i think it all started when pure went on, but we cant do without pure.
dunno what exactly it could be but i rather think its the past days server or some certain hoops unstability, since like i have pointed out in another topic the last time i have played on it, it lagged everyone in the server pretty bad like under ddos attack, i don't think so they suddenly changed unlagged for the rail ;}
also u can reduce the pass-trough shots by using negative timenudge but since its prohibited thanks to common narrovmindness then well not much u can do to alter the client side prediction

I ask for, because by my side, I have the same problem online. Sometimes when I record demos and this happens, I watch the demo delagged again and what I see is : the rail trail goes through the enemy whereas I see that my crosshair was aiming not straightly to him. Impossible to see this as a bad shot ingame (because you focus on your rail trail and cannot precisely know where your crosshair was, so you see many times a "rail through" but you was aiming wrong.
You can shoot through or see this kind of problem when you have packet losses, too high ping moves (I can have 0 losses and my ping can do 40 with -+10ms, it's almost the same as losses, for me) or may happen with fps drops (like I do, because I have only 4GB ram with Win 8 ).
make sure time nudge is = 0 otherwise this will happen.
wich one of nudges, timenudge, projectilenudge?
mandatory settings are that cl_timenudge must be 0 at all times

completelly false, using nudge reduces pass trough a lot because it correct the prediction witch cause the problem

this. I recorded both with fraps and demo and all i can see is crosshair not aimed directly at enemy.
Can't you put some more animated GIFs into your sig/pic? My eyes are not bleeding yet.
In Singleplayer it not do that but in online yes. And might be that what delight said, i perhaps focus the rail trail then.
