lol ore no lol hmm i had 4 comps with servers on and i could run 2 servers on eatch comp if i liked to and they run smoth as hell.All 4 slowed down at almoast same time 3 ow them cant hardly run 1 server eatch now and are not smoth.One locking it selvs up all the time
with xp on but workes with w98 before it has always run with xp on.
Comp nr 4 is an p3 with over 300 ram it ackts like a p1 with 40 in ram.
(No vorms ore trojans found) and new operating systems not did them any better. Sad its like they have no memory but shovs normaly memory sise. HMM WHAT THAT MEANS.i got 9 comps its only the 4 i had servers on that ackts bad.

I assume the comps are not overheating. Didnt you have a thunderstorm couple of days ago? Maybe u should try running heavy memory tests... Dunno... But still it is strange that all the machines suffer the same issue. Is it possible that some software running on them causes memory leaking? Sh*t - that can be anything... Crying

Have you installed Windows SP2 and later updates to this?
This eventually casued serious problems to my comp Love struck

No sp2 are not instaled and i got new windows xp in them except in one that cant drive xp more huhh
and no programs installed memory test sems ok. They are cleen
but still not got the power.can it have something with bios to do can some one have made changes to it lol i dount no what to think any more.

There are free programs out there that can help you with possible memory problems. Try Maxmem from Analog X

http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/system.htm

It is a little old but its handy for clearing those resource hogs from your memory. Becareful when setting it on agressive as it might take a while to clear. I figure that this program might be handy to diagnose if something is hogging your memory. Run it before starting your server and see what happens. I do NOT recommend letting Maxmem run while quake is running because it will dedicate it's time to clearing memory.

As always there are probably other software that are much better but hope this one will be a good start. Its free, simple to use and easy to uninstall if you no long want to use it.
