Pure problem

I have weird problem with pure servers. I can play on 2sweet 1vs1 pure and on the lemon ffa pure, and i played war with 2sweet with pure on with no issues, but lately when Tehace turned the pure on on the deva server it kicked me out. Just after this i checked 2sweet 1vs1 pure and no troubles, so wtf? I have some weird stuff (no explosions, but didnt dl it purposely), however on a pure servers it just turns off. So anyone has any idea where is the root of the problem?

Pure problem

when you connect to pure server and you have unpure files, you cant connect but your quake remains still open, then drop console and read, you will have names of unpure files with exact path to them, also you can type /condump file_name to write all console messages to .txt file and check it later, this must work and you will know which files are unpure and also which files are pure and needed on this specific server

1/a pure server never checks mod folders.it checks only baseq3 folder.
for example u can have six mods installed in q3 ,and go connect to a Pure cpma server only...(means it doenst have E+ mod installed on server) .. no problem.wich is logic.

2/in baseq3 folder are allowed only maps.and pakX.pk3s wich are like this :

-Pak0.pk3 (46,8 megas bytes approximatively)
-Pak1.pk3 (366 ko approximatively)
-Pak2.pk3 (7,33 megas approximatively)
-Pak3.pk3 (270 ko appr.)
-pak4.pk3 (9,366 megas appr.)
-pak5.pk3 (188 ko)
-pak6.pk3 (7,175 megas)
-pak7.pk3 (314 ko)
-pak8.pk3 (444 ko)

those file sizes are those of a clean standard quake 3 arena installation , . i tested it on other pure servers even from other mods.

none of the files above come from E+ installation. some of them are from
original releases of q3 and others have been added by pointreleases , like 1.32 for example.

Of course ,server must have exactly the same sizes as those listed above to be considered standard.

ps : client must have /cl_allowdownload set to 1 , to be able to download additionnal pk3 files from server ( like custom bot files if there is any on server).

PPS: if u run a non pure Server , and u turn it to pure with /rcon sv_pure 1 , all players will be kicked including , you..regardless of how "pure you are" , you need to rotate server before it becomes pure and it doesnt kick players. (cause pure setting is latched like g_gametype)

after rotation players can connect back.
