firefox ftw.
use firefox you nerd
wrote:use firefox you nerdi wont use firefox just cause qconnect doesn't work with opera smoothly. there is realy no worse browser, besides all other browser (excluding opera). using ff for a week is nice, but using it more than this causes just a poor performance, each tab allocates around 15 mb ram (lol!!!). this is so rediculous.
greetz (to all those smart guys using opera )
yeah
some solutions:
-dl old opera (like me, but thats cuz i didnt updated it )
-use opera mainly, but also have ff on desktop and startside is e+ spider
-copy ip
Old topic sorry. I just had to say that the qconnect is really annoying. I would love it if it worked well. I have used it in Internet Explorer and now Firefox. Every time there is this same problem. It works some time alright but then suddenly, for no reason, it doesn't work. It's like it isn't there anymore. So I have to install it again and then it works - for a while. And then I have to install it again and it works. And then I install it again. And again. And again.
I have installed it during these years about 400 times (I didn't count it really but I think I've installed it many times) and it's a bit annoying. Everytime I install it again, the position where my Quake is supposed to be, is correct. So I assume the plugin is there already but it just doesn't work unless I install it again.
Any suggestions?
I would suggest downloading the "All Seeing Eye" program--it never fails. It's free, no spyware or adware. Easy to set up as well.
Here's the link Allison:

If you do decide to download it, download the Trial Version. It works fine without being registered. Every week or so you will get a nag box that asks if you would like to register, simply click no. I have been using the Trial Version for well over a year now.

O_O weird. I never had any probs with it myself. How does it look when it dosent work? You click the link in the spider and nothing happens? Or does some error show up? Have you tried re-entering the path to the .exe in qname again?
