Ok, I'm not a map maker, or even really a programmer whatsoever, but I've been waiting and looking forever and I've yet to find a quake 1 remake map for quake3, other than abandoned base. I think those quake 1 maps would be classic and amazing for q3, E1m7 (house of chthon) from q1 would be great for a 1v1 rail map, and E1m3 (necropolis) would also be a really fun TDM map. I wish someone could work on these, I wish I could actually, but I am clueless to map building, so hopefully someone thinks this is a half decent idea.

i still have some q1-maps in mind ...
almost made 3 (i think), but i wanna reconsider them again! Winking

Edit: i also made WAREHOUSE (from q2),
i think, thats a nice one ...esp for the faster thaw-time
on plusn.cfg (e+1.04)!

i don't know map names from quake 1, but i believe swelt (<3) made a remake of some, http://www.swelt.nildram.co.uk/maps.htm
