Fat pussied out:

I think ZeRo4 is a great guy... I wish him the best of luck at ESWC if he chooses to go... I'll definitely tune in to watch and see how everyone does just for pure enjoyment...

So this leaves ZeRo4's attendance under a big question mark.

Meh, i didn't really expect anything more from Fat. He's been retired for so long, if he came back now, he would get his head kicked in by any active player.

[Fatal1ty] is right in thinking he has way too much to lose than to gain.

Would have been cool to see him play too but attending doesn't make any sense from his POV. Can't see him having time to practise at his own crazy pace anymore with all the other stuff he's doing...

The general vibe I'm getting is that ZeRo4 is going anyway... and with his new shittier attitude blame lack of motivation because of Fatal1ty's abscence if he does poorly. Suffice to say I really didn't like this last interview of his, and even if it was all written solely for the odd chance it could've provoked Fatal1ty to come out and play, he went way too far and said some really dumb crap about lots of things. Even if he DOES perform he'll have some nice apologizing/explaining to do to get back full respect, and if he fails it will just be awkward...

I wouldn't take most of the things he said THAT serious, but one can't deny he put himself in a very hard situation. Big grin

Aside from the perform/fail (i don't think anyone is insane enough to actually think he'll WIN...) scenarios, he can always simply not attend, but at this point, it would only seem he chickens out, much like Fat did (even if he has strong reasons, like, simply not being up there with the rest of the best players anymore).

Also, like many folk over at ESR pointed out, much depends on how the qualifiers will be dealt with. Z4's problem is also that USA has many more very good VQ3 players. If it will be only two spots, i don't think he'll have much chances to even be at the main tournament.

But whatever people may think about him now, i'm sure a player of his experience will know his limits and where he stands against the current world elite players.

There's a USA VQ3 tourney going on right now, might be worth watching, some hot players who'll probably attend the upcoming ESCW play there.

Walter? KGB? Fake_Id?

Viju was supposed to be in the tourney, but can't see him in the brackets, dunno why.

Also, the winner will play a match vs Rapha for a bonus 100$.
