yes, normal q3 style is harder, but we like more e+, not because its easier mostly, theres one thing on e+ that you dont have on ql, improved physics, i mean that you can change ur total position while flying that makes you a hard target to hit with a rocket for example, that is much easier to hit in normal q3 and ql, and thats why i like e+, that it has many addons like that, that its looking nice (ex. scoreboard, country flags etc), i played ql as a beta tester, i liked insta there Tongue

for person like me the missing of cpm physics is a serious issue, without it i feel like someone would break my legs and since then i move on chair

the fact that instagib can't be played in freeze game type or the games don't have separated ranks it just saying that those things that are liked so much by lots of people aren't important at all

ql comparing to q3 is nothing new it is just q3 introduced as new game for young people, and it lacks so much features comparing to q3...

I am addicted to life.

QL has global stats. WOW, WTF, OMG!

I c no serios reason to play QL. I tested it long enough. And to say "baseq or QL" is harder, would be narrow minded. To reach a similiar skillevel in QL or baseq as i have in E+ i would not need longer than i needed in sod mod, pants or now E+. And i must be honest to myself, i will never become a pro-player, i can be happy with that little skill i have, i am 30, and learning things will not become easier with age.

It is different, but hell, not harder.

And if i really should get the feeling again, to play not E+ only, i will play cpma or baseq or even osp, before i play QL ever again, since Q3 has so much more to offer than QL.

More maps, more mods, more gametypes, more self-responsiblity.

Fruthermore, QL is just a testgame for a "maybe" upcoming 5th part of Quake and it makes me feeling not free in my decissions.

you think it needs skill to get 10 times killed with a 1000 damage rail? just play a round on borg ctf you will get fast the opinion that most of the players switch with mouswheel so the can use all weapons in 1 second. rail is to strong in comparison to the other weapons. maybe instagib but then with slower switch time. its maybe frustrating for people who play e+ and then try their self in ql...
