Yeah, that's it Talk with the guys from Arlt.
i hate buying complete pcs, you pay 1.5 the price its worth if you assemble it urself.
about motherboards, you can always have faulty ones, msi did good gfx in past, nowadays i don't know, but i also had lots of problems with asus boards. (like mine fried 2 rams too, one of them ocz)
anyways, about motherboards, you basically cant buy a too big one, everything bases on it and a good motherboard just makes ur pc run nice and stable.
First of all I totally forgot about one thing that is really important for me: A high-end sound-card!
Check this one

EDIT: Andy, check the posts on this web site:

asus xonar sound cards is ok, at least (dg 5.1) for me
edit: ive got this dg basic/cheap version and its sounds nice, literally, but if you have more cash u can look some better stuff i can imagine the sound quality then
I just can't understand for what tasks to buy such a monster? Is it planned to be a workstation?
Yeah as I've said all my previous PCs had ASUS boards and I was always quite satisfied. I think I got to talk with the guys at Arlt. They said that they could modify everything if I want to.
