RAIL vs MG
swithtime 0 allows you change to another weapon( if your current weapon is realoding. For example. Youre on dm6 and youre in a curve on middle floor. Under the bridge is enemy. You both plays with rail. You shoot first and miss him. Now is draw on enemy. So you can use mg for make his aiming harder and after few mg hits change back to rail and kill him.
preparing to enemy is mainly useful in 1on1. If youre listening enemy position. So you can make a plan for attack opponent with weapon which is more useful in current situation than dope railgun. For example enemy is behind corner or nearby some wall. You can use gl or bfg. You can kill without visual contact
I dont play e5r (old times od e5 are away for me). Problem of plus cfg is in slower switchtime. Unfortunely enemy attacks in moments when youre waiting for weapon switch and iam very often dying because of this latency
its very depends on their tactics on current map. If railer will be camping behind corners, its very hard to kill him with mg And If mger will be sliding on map, mg is again very useless in this situation. Mg can be useful on longer distances on opened maps (mainly space maps) to shoot down enemy which is in air.
But i think rail>mg. For example when i played CS in past, i was moving on maps with magnum sniper rifle. Damage can be compared with insta rail Why? Because if i met on short distance someone with AK-47 i killed enemy sooner than enemy could kill me
good rail ever wins.
hard.swe ever wins.

Even on e5 good rail can be just as annoying and killing as mg.getting railed in e5r in ctf and tag are very annoying. (i think thats what you meant)
if you have positive K-D in e5 being a railer... you would be teh awesome.
No that's not what i meant. The none insta rail from E5 is very annoying, probably more annoying than the hits from the mg.
Being good with the e5 rail isn't that hard.
Problem of plus cfg is in slower switchtime.
Problem?....id say its a bless It just requires more skill...being more focused on your target...in e5r lot of peeps (not all) dont bother about that cos if rail miss... 3 other wapons will get him xD

thats it
if i fly on spacemaps and somebody spams me with mg and i fall down i get mad.. .thats the lamest tactic i´ve ever seen.... thats 1 point and 1 enough for me to hate the mg.

I love the mg..i love rail..just hate switchwhoring
Oh and btw...if someone shoots you in air with mg and youre not getting fragged but pushed ya off map hes bad mg'er
Well as tyr said there are many factors wich afect the final result, but im not so sure about rail>mg.
a really good mg aimed player can fuck u for real ofc u will kill him mny times but final result i think is mg win, more on ctf with moves.
because maybe on 1 vs1 rail can win but if railer need to make moves and make caps, etc, etc.. he are lost mg have more probabilitys to win the match.
Greetings
i see is allmost in e5r
ussualy i use combinations like rail->mg or bfg->shotgug->lg but not always... if enemy closer, i use shotgun. most ppl use bfg to cover some entries and then goes to another one thats free...
my question is now: if playing a good railer like hard*swe against the best mger, what winn be the result if mg is from cfg e5r and rail insta kill. im asking that because i dont understand why 200 frags difference in bnt vs x war on dm17. i know x good e5 clan, so good mgers. also bnt fast rail acc good clan
