I've (and not only me) came to the conclusion that I should learn English as fast as possible. My vocabulary is mediocre compared to my expectations(saw this after i've read the article Mircwar(if im not wrong) linked, about Dubai) so i thought there must be a way to improve and why not, reading and reading, that's how i'll learn english and know in which contexts to use not like i done till now using a dictionary but couldn't integrate that word into a phrase...

to sum up .. i was wondering if u know any blogs which can help me AND are PLEASANT(..) to read. Also newspapers but to be honest it's a bit much for me now. Blogs are written by unauthoriazed persons which makes it easier to read(less formal language and less unknown terms for me) . If u know any local newspaper or any articles easily to be read please link them here. I'll apreacite your work to copy paste Tongue

thnx,
kraster

/edit : move it to offtopic.. now i saw ive posted where i shouldnt do it

I don't really like reading via the Internet, I find it tiring for some reason. Most magazines and newspapers have their content free of charge uploaded online. Check out some of the british newspapers, or news services like reuters or CNN.

I usually have a Google bar open next to me and just highlight words i don't understand and google them. Chances are your local library has some English news/political magazines like The Economist or Newsweek you can give a try. As for good political blogs I'm not really your guy.

Here is a nice written story, but it's just one story of 1000 words. I really enjoyed reading it and don't have any further recomendations. A Life is Worth a Thousand Words by Brian G Ross
