btw, try DDNS, like http://dyndns.org

edit: you can't use your own external IP (ie connect to your own host 'outside') if you use router.

first try regular q3 to be sure what problem not in ur patched engine

1) do u have so called "white" ip? There's no difference static or dynamic. If not forget about server until get it.

2) If 1st answer is YES, then do u use modem or router? if yes, which one? port forwarding working fine?

3) How u load ur server?

I load my test server like this:

./ioq3ded.x86_64 +set fs_game excessiveplus +set vm_game 0 +set dedicated 1 +set net_port 27960 +exec server.cfg

P.S. - Better pull back net_ip to "0.0.0.0" default

net_ip - variable holds the IP of the local machine (or the "hosts" name) passed from the OS environment

I haven't autoexec.cfg in excessiveplus folder so my server didn't work.With this file (even empty) it works.Big grin)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
