hi my friend told me this i dont no if its true can you lanche a server with the ip 192.168.0.4 my friend told my when youre ip starts with 192.168 then its only for you're local netwerk is that true?? sry for my eng

Yupp, true.
192.168.x.x is one of the ranges used for local networks.

Your server may be accessable from the internet via your public IP.
Depends on your router/firewall settings.

go into your router ... range port 27960 to ur pc
normaly u found this under "virtual server".
then u can host a server over port 27960 to the internet.
the ip of you, can be found in the router too. try there "status" or something. - depends on the model and firm that u have.
to connect is then <yourip>:27960

or u use mather servers and can find your server in the e+ spider or the all seeing eye

but be carefull... u need min. 2mb upload. otherwise ur server lags by more then 6 ppl.

put q3 on your first computer whats connected to the internet and open in the router udp port 27960 have that comp ip 192.168.0.1 than have that no any problem it show your own ip nr on ace ore other q3 browsers and so you can connected with your second computer to your server and only you see the network ip connected to 192.168.0.1
