yo guys, just wondard if anyone could help me

ok. Everytime i connect to a server, when the 1st map finishes ,quake crashes temporally for 30 seconds or so. After it has crashed for 30 seconds i am left with the final score screen of the map, i then have to \reconnect to get back on the server (by that point ive already missed a couple of mins of the next map) after this has happened once, the rest of the map rotatation works fine.

anyone any ideas y and how to fix it, does anyone else have the same problem. im sure firefox is more happy now ive finally posted my problem Happy

I used to have that problem and it got better after celaring up my screenshots up.
Or/and turning off automatic screenshots by setting xp_OnExit to "".

Your quake has the plague.

30 secs seems a bit too much for a simple screenie prob Worried

Try increasing your com_hunkmegs to 128

u know how long robbo plays q3, if in every game he played there is a screenshot, now the programs has to search screens up to 3000 ;d

Cheers for your help guys, ive now fixed it, the problem was the screenshots. i had over 3000 screenshots in the folder totaling over 500 MB. lol, so i guess your right skull, i do play alot (im not quake addict, honest Laughing.
