Server Start SSH ! need Help!

I have one Problem, I start my q3 server in Putty with ./quake3 +set fs_game ....., and my Problem is when i close Putty is the server down 
I need Help to start my server right im new in linux

u must first get out from current screen session hold ctrl and type a + d.

Yeah, one of the possibilities is to run serv under screen program, like Camel suggested. You do for example 'screen -d -m quake3 +set ...', and session with q3 goes into the background. When you want it back on the foreground, you do 'screen -r'. And you leave the session with ctrl-a d. If you press ctrl-c you kill the server and the screen. Manual is your friend ('man screen').

Ok Problem Fixed I start the server so ./q3ded +set fs_game excessiveplus +set sv_pure 1 +set dedicated 2 +set ttycon 0 +set net_port 27004 +exec rail.cfg & exit That & exit its important.
