hello im trying to connect to a game online and i get a message telling me "server uses protocol version 68."
can somebody please explain to me what im doing wrong and maybe point me in a right direction, thx

You haven't got the latest pointrelease of Q3. Google "quake 3 arena pointrelease 1.32" Download and install Gl mate 
And on a sidenote-> 2 minutes aint that much response time tbh! Give us a break yes?
