OMG! Yesterday i noticed that its OS implementation here too, exact hardware and software like u.. vista 64, mx518 and setpoint 4.70.
Whenever i try to change it, exit and then re-open setpoint it always gets back to OS implementation and game detection enabled Evil

I will try to resolve this issue ASAP...and get back here. Pff

I fixed it. Its amazing how problematic version 4.60 is on vista x64. It does what bazz0r said, duplicates a process creating a massive memory leak and it doesnt stop! LOL...wtf did logitech do here... also mouse pointer starts to look double, like when u drunk, all fuzzy and wobbling on the screen. ROFL.

Solution:

Use version 4.40

So far this is working perfectly. memorizes Setpoint implementation and no duplicating processes crap. If someone doesnt know how to force usb rate in vista64, here are simple instructions to do so, with one note, u dont need to go to safe mode if u have test mode enabled.

1.run DSEO, and set it to test mode
2.restart in safe mode
3.load up hidusbf/setup.exe, click install service
4.use DSEO to sign a system file: c:\windows\system32\drivers\hidusbf.sys
5.put a check in filter on mouse in hidusbf setup
6.set to 500hz or 1000hz which ever you want
7.click restart
8.check mouserate.exe to ensure you are running at desired refresh!
