I've just installed e+, and I'm trying to play single-player. I go single-player and click the skirmish button, select my map and stuff, but no matter which map I select, I always end up in Arena Gate...

Help would be appreciated.

it all related with e+ default cfg. when u start it for the first time it adds some specific cvars to ur q3config.cfg file, such as:

set xp_config
set xp_rotation

u can change em' manualy in q3connfig file, but u can also download this premade cfg for singleplayer here drt.excessiveplus.net/archive/eplus_sp.zip after dl extract it to ur q3 dir i.e d:\games\q3arena\, one thing u need to remeber, do not touch the archives dir structure!

when all is done just run xp_single.bat Happy and have fun

btw. i suppose u wanna play on BRO like cfg, if no open 1vs1server.cfg file that is located in ur e+ dir and edit line xp_config wwith a value that suits ur needs;)

I don''t want to see Urk... It didn't work... When I ran the normal shortcut that I had, it did the same thing. When I ran the xp_single.bat, it threw me straight into Arena Gate in a tournament with no one there.

/addbot botname botskill ----example---/addbot klesk 5
/map q3dmx [replace x with number]
/fraglimit xx [replace x with number]

as fair as i remember gametype's are

/g_gametype 0 - FFA
/g_gametype 1 - 1vs1
/g_gametype 3 - tdm

naah!! best way the play e+ is anywhere at the net...cool servers so if you are a newbie...nothing matter..come and play and learn...!! playing with bots .... and you will play like a bot .... Big grin ...we are waiting for you! :!: :!: :!:
