Huh? During the ~3 years i had my radeon, i never had any problems with old games related to it specifically, and i play old games almost exclusively. From my experience, ATI cards don't have any more problems with older games than nVidia cards do. It's the new games that are optimized to work better under one or another.

i know about some titles which i played without problems but my friend with radeon has small problems. For example: Mafia

Just may be bcz he didn't update drivers, bcz my last not radeon card was TNT Riva 2 Happy After it I had only radeon and there wasn't any problems with old games or programms (I work in Maya and it nees graphic card).
