Strange lags..

Hello

Im running the latest e+ version but since i upgraded my system to win7 64bit etc. i get these strange lags sometimes. They are always in sets of three and comes and goes. Anybody have this problem or just me?

Need help please...

no lag problems from my side, home premium 64 bit

no problems at all

Lags like latency or just game freezes (hdds, pb, antivirus)?

win 7 32bit here and working fine in xp compatibility mode.

are you getting this problem only on multiplayer? anything refreshing in the background? u checked if there's any separate process running when the fps drops?

same problem here, on Win7 32 ultimate.. it looks like the HDD is doing smthing, but no processes runing on backgroung, dunno whats going on, i had not solved yet..

...Just tried that fix.... and i did NOT solve my problem! DAMN! Evil ...Any more ideas? Its always three lags... Causing the screen to freeze for 1-2 seconds... Comes and goes for example:

......................lag...lag...lag.................................lag...lag...lag........

quite sure its some pc background activity

maybe ur pc is a bit to weak for win7 + quake?^^

dont know your specs, but a dual core and 2gb ram should be in there Big grin

hehe... Well.. Just got a new PC so I have Core i5 quad core, 4GB DDR3 RAM, GTX260 Nvidia card.. I run Far Cry2 on highest settings without so much as a glitch \:D/ I think the PC can handle Q3 Winking

But you might be right about the background activity.. Im gonna check the processes running and shut some down. Maybe something is causing some conflict.
