Hey all. This time it's about thing what happened to me today. Well, I only installed Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package, then I runned PC again because something starred to laggs and then what I see? Uninstalled games. Not all. 10 from 14 total games got automaticly uninstalled, quake in it (lost my configs, maps, tags, demos, ALL [no copy of it]). I have absolutely no idea how the hell that could happen. Does anyone have theory why this could happen? I don't ask to "how to fix it?" but I am just interested how this could happen? I don't think this program could do this, virus? I have original kaspersky 2010 antivirus so not big probability. Do anyone have an idea?

i also have kaspersky, and last week i noticed missing programs. turned out it moved them to quarantine (core temp for example). take a look there. if thats the case, set an exception to not monitor activity of these apps.
also, depending what version of windows your running, you may be able to restore from previous versions.
