Imo they're both as stupid and pointless, but hey, what won't people do out of boredom 
About the ";asd" <- it's an emote, same as 
etc etc, afaik it has nothing to do with the in game movement keys. It could be :bnpteu as well. I guess "asdfgf" is used more commonly because of the way you place your hand on the keyboard when you write, it's just closer to punch there.
edit - What i'll say now will probably shock many people, but if i had admin rights on this site i would remove ALL of the spam topics altogether and would create one stickied under "Off Topic".
