i like them when posting overly long essays and letters and shit, help to differentiate between new paragrpahs and just end of sentence. Kinda like an "in-between"

Yeah, but when i read a text full of them (like, at the end of every sentence and a few in the middle) i get a mental image of someone talking extremely slow or having trouble catching breath.
It's a bit unnerving.
