Probably not what you are expecting but have a look at this. behringer u control UCA202
i have an emu 1820m and a 1212m (pretty good sound cards/interfaces I have the 1212m installed atm it runs my speakers. but I have behringer U control UCA202 for my headphones. it sounds very good it’s very versatile. you can even stick in your laptop and connect it to a hifi.
its usb, cheap and you don’t even need drivers. the case is a bit plasticy. but its works just fine.
I am not so pro in sound... Just after what I read and what I heard at my friends - Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer, Asus Xonar, ESI Juli@. That things are rather good for their price and quality on good level. Also can looks on ECHO production but they make more pro things and they cost more.
i'm not an audiophile but maybe you'd like to checkout these reviews i've seen recently:

I've read in computer magazine, with benchmarks about sound card, that Creative X-Fi Titanium is the best for a "not too high" price (arround 70€). The same card but under the "Fatal1ty" name is exactly the same, only the box and the price change.
Gamer costs about 70 euro. Titanium costs more cause of front panel.
iam big fan of creative soundcard cos of good sound quality and 100% compatibility. Now iam using in my comp creative audigy2. Nothing special but 100x better than mobo integrated shit
I think that a X-Fi Card is in the moment the best deal you can take. You have good ( for the normal use) Headphones,so you will be more than happy with this cards. If i remember right you will hear mp3's and good sound ingame. These cards give you all you need.
I dont think that you make music like Doomcore or me ( i need other stuff cause i have to bind in all my old analog moog's,korg's,roland's and sequential's ).
You need only a good sound...so don't pay to much...buy a X-Fi.
Thx Wax & Hazo
Ill check out theese brans and models!
