sv_pure problem

Hey guys,

as u probably know, im a pretty knew to the server administrating stuff and i have a little question to sv_pure.
Actually we use it on our DESTINATION servers, and it works fine but it kicks every unpure client instead of just not loading the unpure files. Is there any way to make pure do that?

I think that cannot be done. Happy Pure accept or refuse client.

yes it can be done.
1,5 years ago there was a mr server that ran this way.

The only thing u can do is to upload the files which u want to allow in ur baseq folder of your server, no matter what bert said. The people who try to connect to ur server have modiefied baseq-pak-files (pak0-9), this is the only reason why pure dont allow player to join server, (except files which try to bypass pure), all other files, what change just stuff on baseq settings, will be just disabled and loaded from baseq of client and not from additional files.

yes ... and.. sv_allowdownload 1

( this is if u want clients to download additionnal files from server , but this means they wont be allowed on other pure servers if they dont have it ..there.. )

if u have sv_allowdownload 0 on server config , all clients that dont have those additiional files u have on server will be kicked Cool

Finally, pure works on TC servers too now, because autodownload was always switched to off.
And I do nothing only configs for servers was reseted.
