Synchronizing mx518 sens with intelli 3
Hey
I know that there are some crazy ppl that don’t do anything else than just sens testing etc. I have a smaller problem here.
I just bought the MS Intelli Explorer 3.0. What I would like 2 know: Is there are any easy way to get THE SAME sens as my old MX5.18 to Intelli 3.0 ?
(sure I know this is hard because they are different brands, dpis etc)
Should I start all over with the sens testing? Main problem here is that they are DIFFERENT brands and the feel/dpi is of course not the same. Sure I guess I could measure and check how many cm I need for let’s say 180 Turn but still its kind of a subjective attempt.
ALL Suggestions & replay will be very kind from you

BIG THX 2 PARA for correcting the post

Hmm, will be hard to get the exact sensitivity, since ie 3.0 have somewhat different response curve (Negative accel.)
I would guess sens 0.7 @ 1800 dpi (Stock pitch/yaw, notch 6 in windows) would be something like 3.5-4 on ie 3.0
The only way to make sure is to do as u said - Test test and test.
I can't help with that mouse, but congratz new mouse (even if some says it sux)
first of all, set up ur mouse like partially written here in the mouse guid.

i stepped over it by browsing the esl mouse test 2007, its a pretty solid guid, though not optimised for q3.
set up ur mouse so windows does not alter sensitivity.
and then use the sens * dpi old mouse/dpi new mouse formula.

Do u still have ur old mouse?. Just test how many cm u need for a 180 or 360 ° turn. And than go and test it for ur new mouse until u need the same cm.
