Hi, finaly and firsttime i have Q3TA. But i see Q3A and Q3TA using different protocols. q3a using 68 and TA only 67. Is possible to play e+ on TA?

Hi beazty, TA is an old game now and was not that popular (I bought a copy), they are not offering any more updates. I remember playing TA on excessive servers, so I think it is possible. Let me know if you can Happy
I think I recall that Mulle (creator of BRO.cfg and owner of BRO and MR servers) once had at least 1 BRO excessive server runing.
I personnally found TA a fun game, it had an interesting gametype called harvester or skull harvest something like that, well the idea was when you fragged member of the enemy team you had to pick up thier skulls and take them all back to base.

i like TA graphics and new weapons like nailgun Happy Last update for TA is point release 1.31. For q3a is it point release 1.32. But is impossible for me to download 1.31 update because id software server retuns error 421 - too many users connecter or somethink like this. But this error returns 24 hour per day. So i think its mystake of script and not too many connected users

i dont know if e+ 1.03 would work, but maybe older e+ edditions?

I am proud of spreading a pirated Excessive Plus version and claim to be the original author, yay!

You can update the 67 protocol quake where you play TA to 68 with the regular Pointrelease 1.32.
Remember that Team Arena is just a mod just like e+, osp, cpma etc.
Or you can just copy/paste the directory called : missionpack ( or smth like that) to your everyday use Q3.

I've "upgraded" my q3 ( where TA was too ) from 1.11 to 1.32.

I like CTF played on that map with mountains and a bridge in the middle with Haste !
Oh ! Does someone knows where i can download the TA's maps from ?
