Hey everyone, I need help. My teams sounds, like jumping sounds and whatnot are the same as any model I choose for myself, but the models do not look the same, nor is forcemodel on. How do I change the sound of the team to their actual models sounds instead of mine?

I think you have some sound files messed up. Try to check them.

It happens if You spectate them? If Yes, in this case try with this setting: xp_specModel "0" (I guess it was 1 - which means You enabled own model for the followed player).

Hope this is what You look for! Good Luck Winking

no that doesn't do anything, it isn't the right command for that.

Someone pmed me his config cuz there was no solution here, it took me 10 minutes to figure it out! Your fault for not pasting.

add: xp_enemySound "model" (default: "")

where model can be any valid model e.g. "sarge", "keel", "grunt" etc.
an empty value "" will disable it and the sounds of the actual
enemy model will be used

Switch it to empty and it works again, working on the odds of the cvar now.

edit: there you go, cvar is fucked up, it switches the jumpsounds for all enemys to the specified value and changes teamsound to yours. Must be some odd coding there.
What we really need is to specifically turn some models their sound to be only for enemys, such as tankjr or keel so a teammate having them isnt annoing the hell out of players.
