thats wrong ventrilo is better then ts2
better quality and faster

but when you play q3 and use ventrilo at the same time the ping is bad
with ts2 you have no problems Winking

well TS2 has variable quality ....it has the option of different codecs if the server doesnt have enough bandwidth then that can cause a prob.. Winking

Same with ventrilo, i was just wondering since I never used it so just let's say they are in the same level I don't want to start appz wars here, I'll try ts2 soon to see how good it works with quake.

TO Zeke yeah it does it is completely independent from the game you can use it while you are playing or just to talk to the guys who play while you do something else.
