Tell your story of E+ b now !!!

Ok then! ehm...I am not sure for 100% about the dates etc but...its something like that:

Me and My Brothers (Camel & Pjax) was joining in 2005! On the beggining We was playing on servers learning E+ mod for 4-months!
Then Me and XeD was creating the second type of crime THC - clan! Big grin
it was something in the end of 2005 year or beggining 2006 i guess!
In 2007 We renamed THC (The-Hard-Core) to KA (Keep-Away) and something like half year ago KA was back to THC! (THC & KA was always the same clan, just renamed for a while!)

I am gonna stay here that long, how long My-One-And-Only-THC-Clan is, with this all Familiar and Fantastic Peoples inside...

Ps: If i leave E+ and THC clan gonna be still here, so its only cuz of My personall feelings, last times i have sux mood to this all.

Greeting's...

i started to play in 2005. But first cca 8 months like clanless. I loved ppl but i wasnt on forum. I remember from this times many wonderful ppl like firefox, m, asuran, shell, doc, tanne, drill, toxic and many others.... I played a lot on xnature server and later on 2!S servers (2!S.cfg) so everyone who played there have to know me Happy

I joined my first clan on spring 2006 (and finally made registration on forum). It was Class clan. I joined it with toxic and we were a class Happy But class was new euroamerican clan and everything what we did was one fw against ktm (unfinished). It was bored so after cca 3 months we leaved.

After short clanless time i joined ktm clan. It was nice times there with dea, nagro, narcy, nosia, ungaro, dvd, viewer, crac, janee and others. But in november 2006 ktm died like a clan and stayed like team. I was again some time clanless and in january or february 2007 joined 2!S where iam still.

got hooked on e+ at the beginning of 2004. never played quake before this, but i knew i only liked excessiveplus servers.
i played without the mod for around 4-5 months Big grin and when i finaly d/loaded and installed it - well you know...
I enjoyed the game so much I wanted to give something back for it, so i started running a server around mid 2004 and have been running one ever since, i just want all to enjoy the game as much as i do.
spent a time playing and just enjoyed getting better, improving skills, learning about the game, but most importantly, i shared all teh knowledge i gained with whoever wanted to learn, and i still do, and i am stil learning after 4 years of e+.

About clans, I had some offers from clans to join but i wanted to join a clan for the right reason, with the right people, doing the right thing.
joined as a founder member of (HK) in 2005 and it will be my first, last and only clan.

so no real story here, just me playing a great game, meeting lots of nice people and doing what i can to share that experience with others.

well my story is quite eventful, to say the least Happy dates and times i am useless with, so just be glad its in chronological order Big grin

used to play q3 back in the day on oldschool lan parties, around 2000-2002 with my bro and dad, baseq3, or even team arena Happy was never any good at it, basically got owned a lot and never ventured online...

Started playin a game called JK2/JKA in the meanwhile, for around 2 years and gave up on quake...guess its due to whatever community is strong at the time Happy JK was dying out and becoming dry, so i started to play q3 again to fill the time between wars Happy

I only ever played on instaunlagged, on dm17. That was it, pure passtime of a fragfest poaching the noobs Happy Although whenever i ventured into 1v1 on there i got raped, still good fun Happy

Round about '05 I joined a BRO freeze server, oh what a day that was Happy instantly addicted to tag but had a really bad setup (still default). I was told by some WASP member a command, cg_truelightning 1 and to download the mod, and i was amazed o_O haha Laughing I played around a bit on HK servers, getting to know a few members - mainly Goddam I saw (who told me to get some headphones for better play) Cheers mate Happy Wanted to join HK, but never got the chance to try out (still too much of a noob Happy )

I joined TFC, the funny clan, with members Sexy Red (i remember he taught me how to slide with the LG), korgath, skull, drill, gladi and others and played a few wars with them, was good fun but I wanted somethin a lil more, something like Lime Happy Weebl spotted me on a server one day and offered me an invitation, which I grabbed after leaving TFC Happy I remember my tryout vs him, on dm3 after he taught me how to bfg jump properly Big grin Oh how did he get owned after i figured out that shit Tongue

Lime truly was the highlight of my quaking up to this point, I felt really at home with these guys and had a chance to show some tactics for maps, mainly dm6 where we came 13-15 to KO, one of my fav wars where i pummeled driv (i have the demo somewhere Big grin) Lime was great, but like everything had its troubles...Weebl had little time due to his studies so appointed me to take the lead Happy All went well for a while, until I took lime too seriously, and kept only the competent players. Total mistake, and totally against all of Limes tradition. I'm really sorry about that guys Sad If i had another chance with it, I would definitely have kept lime the fun clan that took new players and trained them up - I mean if you look at some of the great players today and quite a few of them originated from what weebl started. Big up to that guy, he deserves every bit of respect, and more, that this community can throw his way Happy

So unfortunately Lime didn't go too well...instead it was taken over by some noob named shell who tried to recreate the moments, but that didnt work out too well for him Tongue So...I began to try out for DRT Happy I wanted something more competitive within this mod and found that, along with a great group of guys and girls that I will never forget Happy Spent a lot of time talkin to nh and foksie on irc and ive gotta say these two together in a conversation, and you're asking for comedy. The amount of bash.org quotes i could have submitted from their random antics are simply immeasurable Big grin Even though I wasn't a DRT member yet, they still made me feel part of the team as I was invited to all the trains and gradually got better over time, keyword time here lol, it took me 6 months or so to be accepted - that's dedication Big grin

Everything now is going great for e+, although I'd like to spend more time playing and less time doing my A levels...the balance is kinda falling more towards work though now, unfortunately Sad I don't like the pessimists amongst us that have the idea that E+ is dying when it clearly isn't, i mean look at the amount of active users on this forum and look at the tournaments/leagues that are currently running in both plus/e5 r ...this mod is FAR from seeing its end Happy

Sorry for makin this quite a bit of a hefty story, but the journey has been an awesome one with some great memories taken in on the way - hope some of yours have been just as good Big grin

Clan history:
Clanless >> (.WASP.Blacklist.) >> OSC|

I don't know how long I've played e+, but it's 3-4 years I guess. For a while ago, my dad introduced me to quake 3 (He owned me at that time, but now I beat him 30 - (-4) on dm17, haha!). Later, tartaros introduced me for e+ and I started playing this (Thanks tartaros). After a while, Necro asked if I wanted to join WASP Blacklist and at the same time, I joined these forums. As most people know, WASP and blacklist almost died after several members ,including me, quitted - Oxy and Madmaster created OSC for the ex wasp and blacklist members.

oh, this is'nt easy....

first i got addicted to q3 just playing singel. but after finishing the game to times on nightmare(last guy is a bish xDDD) i had a little break. but shotly after that i got a fast connection so i started to play a bit online. first i didnt find it so fun but after some time i found some insta server and liked it, and after that e+. so after 6 months of getting as raped on the 1vs1 servers i had my first win over some good player, dont remember who, and i was stuck. E+ is realy impressive with a lot of very skilled players!!! which is a little problem coz all new players(not all but many) get scared and only play for a short time, heheh Thinking

anyway, clans goes like- as, tkm, dest, hyper, swe- inactive Crying

donno if i got it right, but who cares xD

best regards- Enter X

Started with Doom II in LAN,then Duke Nukem 3d,then quake II and then quake III.For long time I played in LAN only, then after I finally got a cable connection in 2004. I started playing online.E+ I first joined in late november 2004,mostly e5 servers and then by accident I discovered Mr. Freeze, the legendary server back then and also ring 0 servers.I joined the forum some months after that and Im playing ever since.Only clan I was ever in was lemon, started off as a vision of diesel who was the original creator, carried on by taker and then by bert and myself.

And I must agree with the following:

This can make me sad sometimes. The mod got worse and almost unplayable no matter how much MBit your connection is,and we suffered some great losses of high skilled players. The way it seems now,its continuing to go downhill.

i'll have to disagree on that.
Some things are alot better now days, more clans, more people, more events, 1v1 rank, fun war teams, better clan rank, more servers, less flame wars (even though most of it was me base or hadz lol).

But i think that magic is that we used to be a small community an we used to know everyone better.
Now these days everyone is faking Sad an us old skool players i think have played this game way to much we just kinda getting sick of it.
But cant wait for new realese whenever it comes hopefully we will see some more old players return.
