yes the fragfest was realy nice!!
but i had lag in the end, especialy when the server was full.
i dont know if it was my comp or the server....
i have had saturdays when i played 10 hours of quake so after 110 minutes fragfest i was not realy tired. i had a headache of focusing the rail shots though.
i totaly didnt expect to win because i expected some ko and swe players which werent there.
cant wait for the next fragfest, it was great.
mmh, i can do a test tomorrow (maybe) (means also, all 2!S server down, expecting lemon ffa and 2s-freeze) (i already have an event server, just never started it

the lag was maybe me, i pressed last 10 frags of u all second refresh in spider dunno, have no idea.
overkill ctf was nice and big but ctf would be very chaotic i think. And again because it is team-based game not all members of a team can stand 2 hours or less game.
nodm5 is big with medium and small, but many, rooms so the action will be way different than the one in thewell. I think it can easily hold 20-25 players
The very strong advantage of thewell is it's obvious size and the million spawnpoints which make it difficult to spawnkill. So no spawnprotection=action speeds verticaly. Whichever map is chosen, size, number of rooms and spawnpoints matter alot, at least for me.

My suggestion is thewell again or obiwan's house which has four or five very big rooms but i can't remember number of spawnpoints
dunno if i understood u right tarti, but u dont must play ctf on a ctf map. and without spawnprotection the game will not take longer as 1 h - 1:30 h

Now i saw your edit, mow. Well, it would be interesting to try timelimit instead of fraglimit. Something like 100 minutes would be nice i think. Or if the organiser wants fraglimit 1300 would make it longer
:twisted: Ok, what do you think about my crazy idea, to do a Guiness record, by playing for 10 000 or 100 000 frags? It might takes a whole day, but who cares. It is summer and everyone has free time... xD
You dont have to play continually, I think we can have a rule, that X ppl must play at once, others could go to toilet, eat, drink, etc... We need desperate and persistent gamers for do that...
@first half hour sv_allowdownload was 1 , to let some pple download the map from server , when all did..i turned it to 0 not to lag server when it reached 40 players. but...it reached 40 players very quickly..so in the last hour server was constantly with 45 /46 six players. untill the end.maybe server lagged but not really a lot. and only from time to time, considering the size of map+players connected, i think it did pretty well.
but i ask mow , plz, 'if u can ' to do a benchmark on his servers..to check if i have somthing wrong or...it is E+ that has a bug on scoreboard...
@ mow ,start a server with 50 slots...and add 45 gauntlets. when i did the test like that..there was a bug with scoreboard , u can see only the name of one player connected like 40 times on server.
it did the bug with the guantlets and it did it on fragfest when it reached 35 players or so....
