Watced it a long time ago and i feel it's my duty to share it. Even if a single person gets a wake up call out of this, i'll feel i did my part.

Even if it's stuff you know, so much info gathered, organized and substantiated deserves some of your time. If it's stuff you don't know, don't be a sheep and watch it. If not to be influenced or convinced, just to hear a different 'opinion'.

Is this about "The company"? The select bunch of shockingly rich corporate ppl who control teh world? If yes i`d definately give it a look.

Not exactly but close. It's really something worth watching, really. If you like it share it :] I'll sniff around to find the book in the right book stores. If not, the mule will do the trick Big grin

I've seen documentaries and read books about animals, mutations, drugs, exploitation, conspiracies, official wars, "private" wars, genocides etc etc but this is one of the few times that i truly thought that a meteorite is the only real solution...

The movie demonstrates pretty much the root of all the above 'problems' i mentioned.

Enjoy you will, trance :]

--edit--

Recently i watched in a documentary festival a very shocking, detailed documentary about the Sandline affair. You must love private armies... Meteorite dammit

EDIT:

I'm pretty allergic to Moore and the other so called leftist intellectuals, is it any good or just classic US bashing?

@ tar's original post... Oh Yeah... I think that one of the lecturers (Patrick Hitchen, Buiseness Management, Thrusdays, 11;00-1300, LTB Hall A)showed parts of it to us, If I remember correctly, the parts I've seen were about willing to kill your own family for profit maximisation (thats how I interpreted it anyway Laughing

A truely scary concept, but thats why the Essex Uni campus has 3 bars, 2 clubs (technically, 1.5 cos they shre the dancefloor ;D) and 3 take-away joints on campus, when you see something like that, you discuss (briefly, towardws the end of a night out), then it goes away with the morning hangover, and you just have your own collection of problems to blow your brains out about... I mean that documentary was shown rouglhy 2 semesters ago, i wouldnt remember about it in a casual situation, if i didint see this...

@ MIRCWAR - this isnt Moore'ish style smart-ass comments, its more about increasing shareholder value then hating the soveirgnity of the Dollar, though i think the U.S. government is mentioned...

This documentary is more about how far a lot of the PLC companies go to please the stakeholders and increase their market share though... and id say its insightful...

eh, maybe ... works Confused No linking to torrent sites

And no it's nothing like Moore's stuff. Moore is pop-corn compared to real documentaries ;d

--edit--

I don't remember any direct US (or other government) bashing but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to connect a couple of dots Big grin

You should allow it Mad.

"The award winning Canadian documentary ‘The Corporation’ has been released on BitTorrent for free. Filmmaker Mark Achbar just released an updated “official” torrent of it. Everyone is free to download, watch, discuss, and share it."

I am proud of spreading a pirated Excessive Plus version and claim to be the original author, yay!

I ain't disallowing the movie itself, just the links to torrent sites. You can always up a valid torrent on rapidshare or something and link here.
