The Hidden Internets >_> <_< *shifty eyes*
Have any of you heard of such sites as
[code:1]http://6sxoyfb3h2nvok2d.onion/tor/[/code:1] - Is the hidden wiki start page for the 'hidden internet'
If so, reply and tell me what you think. If you haven't experianced these sites, they are the hidden *shifty eyes* internet, basically its a TOR accessable only bunch of sites which you can only go on if you have TOR. One of the hidden internet sites I have found gives you a free 7GB of webspace , free . And free emails and stuff, they even have their own forums and everything. Seriously, best thing ever . Downfall to these sites, its only accessable through a proxy and TOR so... its really slow sometimes.
TOR on the other hand is a handy app that changs your IP every 10 minutes, with no delays or lags which is good . You could do anything and not even the FBI could trace you, mwah ha ha ha..
sounds evil enough, but yeah its damn slow
intenet is more than http based on port 8080

It's port 80.
Anyways, this sounds something like the Freenet Project. And according to their URL, it looks like they are being sponsored by the EFF. Good stuff, I may have a look at it.

The EFF is there to make sure you keep your rights in the digital age. Technology opens many new doors which can be both good and bad for your rights as an indivual, and they are doing their best to ensure there is a good balance. Filesharing, copyright law, DRM (the recent sony case, for instance), DMCA, electronic voting, patents, spyware, RFID, the PATRIOT act, spam, censorship, blogger's rights and many many more subjects that we encouter today are covered by them. If you are ever sued by a music label for filesharing, for instance, they have their own lawyers that take care of helping you against the giants. They've done many good things for consumer and human rights until now. I take my hat off to these people.

So, this is like a mix of usenet, bbs networks, army of zombie lawyers and a slight bit of decadence ? Or, in polish terms, WITAMY NA STADIONIE DZIESIĘCIOLECIA!!
EDIT: Nevermind,I managed to access the page from IE cause firefox keeps putting the www prefix when u try to load the page, and all I can say is ... OMG, mail, p2p,voip, radio, irc, forums, bittorrent hidden sites, and so much more...I'm impressed
PS
Is there a way to access it from firefox?
One way round it I guess is to set the proxy settings on to IE and use an alternate browser for everything else, that works really good . You only set the proxy for the browser though so it really doesnt matter what all the other internet based apps do. Pretty cool really.
