Its weird Worried
I reading right now in a swedish newspaper that the schools, pubs, church service and pretty much eveything have closed.
The newspaper also picture Mexico city like a ghost town.
Noone dares to go out. And it citizens is hoarding. Worried
Is it really that bad? Are people that scared? or is it bad journalism?

The text is in swedish. But i think the pictures in the article will speak for itself. Its like they want to give an impression of fear.

Well, no matter how much pushed the story is, but a piece of truth is obviosly in it. If something happens like 1918 - 1920 with the spanish influenca, when 40.000.000 people died worldwide, than all would cry why there were no better controls.

So better this way, which u complain, as again 40.000.000 or more death people. It is just temporary.

It seems diablo has it already Sad

Seriosly again, spider, how much are u informed about word "pandemic"? Because u write "there is no pan... in mexico". A pandemic is wordlwide and cannot be just in 1 country.

It has already been established that this strain of the virus is nothing alike the one from 1918. It's more of a hardened seasonal flu, that 95% of the patients are able to cure with the standard available medication. It's good to be cautious but ppl just freak out too easily and yes media is to blame....

Like i said; no matter how much "pushed", anyway, since when they know it? And they still can't be 100 % sure.

Imagine the whining if it would have been much worse...
- "why why why they was not more carefull".

The citizen is paradox. If some tryes to make a good job for all, maybe even over-motivated, the citizen cry. If he does not make his job, and someting happens, than citizens cry "why they/he did not more"....
