Hi m8s,

iam planning trip to Amsterdam for 3 days in a summer (15.06.07 - 18.06.07) and i have few questions to you:-)

Iam from Czech Republic. But we dont know how much money we will need. Can you reply your experience with prices in Netherlands?

thank you guys but i meant something little different. i meant price for city bus/tram/subway, average price for average food in average restaurant etc Happy

do not try the hilton hotel.and find places to eat there an lot of everycorner i live 5 min from amsterdam.and take enough money in your pocket for the cofeeshop

have fun there

well well...welcome in advance!

to travel within Amsterda, it's easiest by Tram, which is reasonably cheap.
Count on € 5,= per day

breakfast: if possible, enjoy breakfast in your Hotel (if included), otherwise you will need appr. € 5,= per day for a sandwhich and a coke

lunch: lunch will cost you € 15,= per day in case you eat in town

dinner is more expensive, but eating at a Italian/chinese restaurant is very affordable. Count on € 25,= - €35,= per day

having a beer on the terras is apr. € 3.00 per glass

A ready-made joint is for sale at any corner for appr. € 5.00
So count on € 15,= per day for that Winking

Actually the beverages are the biggest expenses and it's the easiest way to safe money if you buy some at a supermarket.
