yea...i bought the event on ppv, for fuckin £15 just to see mirko kick ass. came to thier match, ran to fridge, grabbed a beer, ran back in main room, watch the glorious cro cop entrance to 'wild boys' then 4 mins later im spitting beer from my mouth in total shock and disbelief, i leterally like stood up in shock. And theres mirko dead on the floor...i was like o...m...f...g
he'll be back though and he'll rape all the ufc idiots there with no mercy

He stated in an interview (mirko) that he didn't even see the kick, as his vision was blurred after the elbows he took from gonzaga. I suspect as the kick came, he second guessed where it was coming to late and put his guard down.
He says he didn't even see the high-kick:
"After 3 or 4 elbows to the temple, I had blurry vision when I stood up."
he also stated he wishes for a rematch. And i think he willl come back stronger than ever.

i would like to see more gracie activity in pride. i love to watch them fight! gracie jiu jitsu rock dude!! but they seem to protect their name and sty away from gib fights... thats poor. but when they step in the ring the air is burning:) is saw a fight of ryron gracie ( i think thats the correct name 
) against a japanese guy. ryron had the other guy in armbar after a few minutes and the japanese man didnt want to tap out.. so he broke his elbow dude that was impressive
fedor is great fighter and cro cop too... but imo the brasilians rock! nogueira finished 2 monsters (the one was bob sapp... the other one was the same size ) in an very impressive way! bjj rocks!
i remenber that fight of fedor vs kevin rendlman. kevin slamed fedor right in the head and for a moment i thought he broke his neck... but fedor came up and finishes kevin with an armbar.. that was a great fight too

Mirko last times was Pride fighter, he didnt ready for UFC's elbows... (hm, dont know why... bcoz Mirko is pro)

We will hope that Mirko beat him in reange. Gonzaga not lame, trust me.

Mirko again did the same stupid thing, of thinking he will win easilly. every time he underestimates the opponent or rules like that he gets butchered.
i sure hope this is the last time he does that mistake.
he doesnt even train in a cage now, even though ring is way different. not to mention he absolutely had no clue that in that position he is gonna get raped by elbows. thats a good position to be in pride, but in UFC you are dead meat.
well, lets hope he learned

yes asm ur right... both of them are no real skilled fighters. with monsters i just mean they are physicly monsters (means they are big faaaat guys 
). but its very impressive to watch how they get served
ps: the gracie fight i was talkin about was ryan gracie, not ryron. but in the vid u postet id sais that sakuraba owned him... thats not true! os was it rematch or something? do u know something about it asm? and the fight of sakuraba vs royce was pretty lame.. sakuraba pulled him on his gi all the time. that sucked! the gracies still rule! they should get more active in pride!

From what I heard (friends of a friend train with Mirko) he has a glass jaw.He is not a puncher taker,he gives punches and caant take them very well.Almost every fight of his finished bloodless for himAnd in pride he was lately probable the best in defense on the floor.But this is ufc,so its different rules.Everything written on this page also stands,he underestimates oponnents and sometimes even underestimates what he is doing for a living (when he went off to shoot a movie and then lost a fight) and it always costs him.But he was always back stronger after he would lose a match.Last time when he lost against fedor he won the pride cup,I wonder what can we expect this time?

He just did not expect high kick from Gonzaga. He actually prepare block for kick in ribs.... and prepare counter strike, because he watching Gonzaga in eyes... In case that Mirko expect possible high kick, he will take look a while where that leg goes... and easily avoid it.... But...
Believe to me, in case that Gonzaga's kick was pointed in ribs, Mirko will block it and make furious counter strike.... Than Gonzaga will be in real danger... But, taking risk to block despite avoiding and unexpected high kick was to expensive unfortunately... Lucky Gonzaga...
But Mirko will be back even stronger then before.
