ok just for kicks, of the 11 people that voted to unstickie, some stickies, could anyone of you tell me 1 stickie that could be unstickied and give a reason ?

...because as far as I can see they are all valid ( I know im kinda repeating myself a lil but what the hell) ..also im getting a little sickie of the word stickie.. so hurry before this thread gets put to bed

right now, im comfortable with the amount of stickes.

Its just what the stickies is aboute that bothers me. I mean... a sticky should be for everyone. That movieproject sticky is not for everybody. its like 10 percent of the community that are intersting of that. Ofcourse the rest of us want to se the final movie. But how many can be a part of it? Not all around 900 active members can participate in that. And many of them are beginners. That mapping project is also selective which only a handfull of ppl can be a part of.

stickies like forum rules, anticheat law, i dont know aboute forum feature. but well those kind of stickies are of a greater value to the community. Bcos it apply to everybody. It also maintain a balance to this community.

But if there is too many stickies of which only a part of the community are intersting in. Then the stickies aboute rules and anticheatlaw well those who are importmant i guess eventuelly only become a vast ammount among the other, and they will be soon forgoten. Or what i think, it loose its value.

a subforum is a great idea i think.

Noone likes a full noticeboard with full of unnecasery messages. That not even apply to you!.

Sure psy, agree, but there are 8 and only 1 that could be possibly argued should be a sticky, and later put as a normal post...(maye it will, who knows) but still.... and even then all this for 1 stickie its a bit silly right ?

Ill tell you, if I changed all the posts that get requested to be stickies, to stickies there would be a damn sight more... and there are still lots that could be stickies. There is some very useful info in theses forums that warrant stickie status.

ok a few days to give thoughts, then ill lock. it would have been nice for Equilibrium to enter the debate a little more.

I was thinking this exact thing tartaros while i was writing the previous post, certainly a guides and rules sub forum would be a great idea.
