4. There are also addons for Netscape/Mozilla/Firefox that will try to detect phishing sites... and for you Windows fellas that don't use Firefox, I *think* there's phishing scam detection built into the new Internet Explorer 7.It is supported but I still wouldnt recommend IE over firefox to anyone.
Firefox all the way, stay away from IE.The biggest security tip u can get.
I agree with you 100% Ratz... I just know there's some people who refuse to believe the dangers of using IE and Outlook. I wouldn't recommend IE or Outlook to anyone This isn't to say holes aren't in Firefox, there are... but I guarantee they're fixed faster than things discovered in IE.
Plus people try to exploit bugs in more popular programs, and as IE is still more popular than FF, it is more dangerous to use.

Of course... the more popular it gets the more it will be exploited. But one thing the Mozilla project has that Microsoft doesn't have.... Millions of contributors There's 10 to every 1 on Microsoft's payroll

Ah,just what I wanted to say.Firefox is open source, and IE will probably never be.Millions of ppl are working on firefox, thats why its updated so often and has zillions of addons and plugins that make it more useable and enjoyable then IE.Microsoft is always couple of steps behind Mozilla, and its funny to watch MS trying to catch up,offering features mozilla offered ages ago,and announcing them as discovering hot water.
A-ha, the lair of underground, anti-microsoft commie dissidents.
Please hold on while i report your ip's for a nice, round bonus from my boss, the Satan.
Well while we are on the topic. Fuck Paypal. they will allow someone 6 months to initiate a chargback for an item the received with tracking and just dip into your bank account and take it. I sell laptops on ebay and was burnt for 3600 bucks when someone ordered then signed for and sold a laptop I sold them. Called paypal and said it was not them 6 months later. Woke up and got an email from paypal that they took the money from my account. Bam, just like that. No where the hell is my laptop. Oh and for the record PAYPAL is not FDIC insured, so if they go under you are shit out of luck for any money in thier account. Also if you read the fine print, they are not responsible or helpful in getting your money back if your account is hijacked. So in short. FUCK PAYPAL. They suck and are being sued by hundreds of thousands of people in class action cases all over the world.

Wow, I knew that Paypal and Ebay had their shortcomings, but taking this dipshits word for it was just ridiculous.
Paypal isn't FDIC insured, but they work with banks that are to provide what they're calling "FDIC pass-through insurance". So what they do if there's a problem is send your funds to a bank that is FDIC. Or at least that's what I gather from their somewhat incoherent explanation (maybe it's not incoherent... maybe it's because I'm up a lot earlier than usual).
No that is just thier way of saying it is not our responsability. Keep reading. And while you are at it read about some of the class action suits going on against them.
I don't buy stuff online much but when i do i use those cards that have money limit. No name, no nothing...just a number and lick both my balls
ps. i have no idea how this kind of money transaction is called

Oh, I am aware of those. Actually I got in on the pay out from one of them
