Haha ive seen this before. These facts are cool i could tell you some facts that are scary and that people dont believe and live in denial becuase of what could happen and the implacations they imply.

I did environmental research at college for a while and its scary what you learn heres just a few things I was told by my lecturer :

Did you know ?

That , yes, we are living in exponential times and in decades time there will have to be some sort of population control introduced into the world by governments.

Did you know that we only live in about 30 % of land, this is because we cant live on the sea which makes up about 50 % of the world and we cant live in the air which is about 20 %.
This means that eventualy due to exponential times there will not be enough land for everyone to live on.

Also soon the amount of food being produced will not be able to meet the demands of the population because we will not be able to make enough for everyone. This is due to land being reclaimed from farmers etc to try and acomodate our growing population.

Oil is due to run out n the next 30 years and did you know that nearly every product we use in our day to day life is made with some sort of plastic. And were does plastic come from? Oil! Also most plastics used in these products are NON recicable due to the way they are made.

When oil runs out we are going to have to resort back to coal, which china has the most of making it the worlds new super power when it happens and they know this they are just biding their time, america also knows this and will probably try to do something about it when the time comes.

Global Warming will eventually ruin peoples way of life, it will shift climates ruining food supplies, water even the animals that live in certain parts of the country making it even harder to produce food and land to live on etc.

Also that global warming is definately hapening no matter how its being done or how you want to argue with it. It is going to happen and even if we were to stop using all electricity and reduce the co2 output to zero it still wouldnt stop it because its going to happen, we can only slow it down. And the government knows this.

At the end of the day all of these facts are going to end in one thing and one thing only, WAR!

I have to agree in case of China and India. They can't constantly grow that way because there's a certain capacity the country and the recources give. In addition the reason for the incredible high birth rate in India is also that a lot of current generation's Indians try to kinda back-up themselves by having a lot of kids. Moreover they need boys, so when there's a girl - maybe it's time for a retry Honestly, as it looks they soon will have the kind and amount of wealth most of us know, this dependency will decrease. Ofc i've never been to India nor know any Indians personally..so no offense my Indian friends..

Anyhow, some incredible statistics in there. LOL@ the Nintendo research thingy..
