What kind of monitor do you use?
I'm currently using an LCD flat panel with a max refresh rate of 75hz at 1024x768 and I am going to be upgrading to have a much better refresh rate. I simply don't know what I should buy so I am curious as to what others here might suggest based on what they currently own.
Oh yeah, don't know if it makes the difference, but I prefer to run quake at 800x600 so If there is any model that is cost effective with a 100hz or more at that resolution, then that would be great.
thanks everyone.

LG Flatron F900B 19"
Philips 109E5 19'' - CRT
Old HP P920 19" (now sold under name Compaq cause I think compaq is making monitors for HP or sometn like that),excellent picture, almost perfect, xcept sometimes after 5 min when turned on colors or contrast change slightly to brighter and then back to normal.I think its either high voltage trafo,or monitor cable or cold solder.Old monitor, almost 6 yrs now,but still working Repairing it would cost me almost as a new one.

19" LG Flatron L1952TQ 4ms 1280x1024 (silver)
19" Samsung SyncMaster 930BF 4ms 1280x1024 (black)
Both are flatpanels and worx great. I personally like the LG better coz of its great contrast ratio (1600:1).
Thing is that DVI doesnt support refreshrates beyond 60hz atleast it doesnt work on my old comp. D-sub supports 72 and 75 hz.
Flatpanels connected that is...
