Windows sensitivity should be at 6/11 if not the windows automatically applies some smoothing allegoritms.
If u have lost the mouse feet's this could lead to tracking problems since the focus point is off now.

And in windows mouse works pretty good.My son and I have Roccat Kone [+]. It's a good mouse and we never had issues with it.

I play just crysis 2 but iam able to aim very well with it so i think it is one of the better mice you can buy
I have a good feeling with the G9X. i test it those days between 800-1000 dpi.
Logitech G700, 1.5 years, flawless. Kinda heavy.
first thing is I can not belive that your mice die so quickly, so i really would test them down to the bottom.
dirt in sensor, diff pcs, cable etc, it just cant be u pay 50 bucks for a piece of plastic broken after 1 year.
How old is your g500? That's the same mouse i use. i want to know what kind of lifespan it has. it being Logitech i assume it will last a fair time.
This G500 comes with an 3 (!!) year warranty, so return it and get a new one
