You can start with a lower value if you want.
Then you either practice with gaunlet bots moving 4 time faster, or with bots that can shoot at you moving 4 times faster.
Play like that for several hour. You dont need to play good, the trick is just to let your brain get used to the new speed.
Then!
Go and play on a normal server. Now you notice that it feels like normal speed is like slowmotion. And at close combat you feeling realy confident and relaxed.

i use to practice like this along time ago, and it worked. Thing is you getting used to 4 times speed and later you have to increase with 5 or 6
But as soon as you quit, you also loose the feeling. And i just practised with that in 4-5 moments when i was playing. But practise on a daily basis might give permament results.

I want to try that, but /timescale is cheat protected. I tried to change the variable /cheats in order to enable cheating commands but my console says "unknown command". I have Punk Buster disabled and I really want to try that super training. How can I make it?

First i start the game, and in main meny i bring down the console and typing /timescale 4

Then i go to multiplayer, and create.
I pick a map of my choice and then i change some server settings, like fraglimit, timelimit etc.
In there you can choose to disable or enable punkbuster. Let it be, Disabled and then push fight.

You know when its psyen (:

Many thanks to skull!·soul and PSY. The skull!·soul's short answer was just what I needed, but I didn't want to post my thanks in order to don´t fill the thread of useless offtopic.

Lots of thanks again! That training is great!

I dont know where else could I post this question so I decided to post it here

My mouse is currently ... sick Crying I was wondering if a good mouse affects directly the skill of a fps player Confused
but , I don't understand why ... what a good mouse , lets say g5 , has more than a common mouse like my current one. I am so used to it that it is like a part of my hand and I think it is rather difficult to adopt to a new one ... what should I take into account if I want to buy me a present for this summer ?

Happy

g5 = bad mouse
good mouse = able to take 500 hz, no traction loss and if u pick the right one, it lay's better in ur hand. Also teflon feet sometimes.

Imo You shouldnt stop play. You shouldnt get the break, because then You will loose Your skill more. You should play a bit less but more serious games and with concentrating.

Anyway imo playing the q3 is like riding on the bicycle. Once You get learned it - You wont forgot how to play.

Nothing is impossible
