what type of system do you play quake 3 on ??
When i first played q3 i had a 200mhz with 64 edo ram and a voodoo 1 card with a whooping 8mb and it worked like a charm

i strated q3 on cyrix 333mhz processor and was very jumpy
i upgraded to 128mb ram then it run alot smoother!
then i got my slef athlon 1,400 mhz with geforce 2 Gts/Pro
256mb sd ram it ran very well on that machine
now i got p4 2.4 ghz with geforce 128mb 5200fx and 640mb of ddr
and it runs ok i guess
i had a radeon 128mb 9250 on this machine and when i put the settings all to full the game run slow.
My next machine will prob be and athlon FX with a geforce 6800
my bro has one of them machines and it sure runs sweet!
