what type of system do you play quake 3 on ??

When i first played q3 i had a 200mhz with 64 edo ram and a voodoo 1 card with a whooping 8mb Big grin and it worked like a charm Happy

now i have a:
1,8 duron
Abit NF7 motherboard
256DDR on 400mhz
160gb Bracuda
Abit 9200SE with 128mb
Adi 15'' screen Happy
some garbage keyboard with only the left side still working
Intellieye cordless (yeah i know) mouse
WiFi internet connection with -97/-102db signal... i.e. terrible.

I am proud of spreading a pirated Excessive Plus version and claim to be the original author, yay!

GFX: Geforce 6 6600GT 128/256MB DDR3 Memory PCI-Express - WATERCOOLED (Not Currently, modifying at the moment)

HDD: #1 120GB SATA 150mbit Transfer

PSU: 550Watt Auto Temp Controlled Fans (2), UV Reactive

Monitor: HP L1510 15inch LCD Screen

Mouse: Logitech ifeel mouse (Old yes, I dont use the ifeel feature)

yes some very nice hardware there ppl.!
i strated q3 on cyrix 333mhz processor and was very jumpy
i upgraded to 128mb ram then it run alot smoother!

then i got my slef athlon 1,400 mhz with geforce 2 Gts/Pro
256mb sd ram it ran very well on that machine

now i got p4 2.4 ghz with geforce 128mb 5200fx and 640mb of ddr

and it runs ok i guess

i had a radeon 128mb 9250 on this machine and when i put the settings all to full the game run slow.

My next machine will prob be and athlon FX with a geforce 6800
my bro has one of them machines and it sure runs sweet!
