Whats with Kick for cfg differences?

I been on some servers lately and i have seen some ppl get kicked for having either a not allowed config or a number to high to a set max min ie picmips must be within a limit of the server or kicked.

I just wanted to know if this is goin to be a community spread thing for all servers or if its just on a few servers?

tbh it was on the tdm leugue server it kept happening wen we were tryin to do cw with evol.

Whats with Kick for cfg differences?

these are custom settings made by the league organizers , and have been surely implemented inside the punkbuster config of the league servers.

i Dont think this will be standard , at least as long as most servers dont have PB on them, and even if they had , they will not have that special punkbuster config.

the league pb cfg is quite balanced actually, when it comes to fairness to all players.

so if you can, you should aspire to have your own settings match the ranges in the league pb cfg

I am proud of spreading a pirated Excessive Plus version and claim to be the original author, yay!

afaik official pb.conf for league is not putting any restrictions at picmip.. atleast i didnt expirence them playing (picmip10) maybe it was about snaps, rate, or cg_shadows..

anywayz i would say its somekind of "community standard" since same pb settings are running on 2!s server's

Well i cant really remember now cuz i was hungover Thinking

but itr was defo something stupid liek picmip but ud need to ask lacko hes the one that kept gettin kicked i think it was having something at 16 ??

Anywa i just think its silly that this happened cuz u shouldnt need to set ure config to other ppls requirements but ure own.
