Whats your cg_fov?
115 \:D/
113
I always used 115, but at the moment I feel like I should lower it a bit cause my aim on dm17 mostly sucks. But I hate that map anyway, so I guess I'll just stick to my old one...
I don't think that switching around with the fovs too much is good, because that way you lose the feeling for how much you have to move your mouse and how big the effect is one the screen. If u want to change fov during play you should calculate how much you have to adjust the sensivity. fov devided by sens should remain constantly.
fov / sens = ß
Depends on the day. Mostly I use 90, but I sometimes use up to 135. I'm most comfortable from 90-110 though

Well thanks to all you nice people for your contribution.

Well i've decided to go for 110 that's kind of in the middle, the idea of different fov(for different weapons is now munching around my head - It seems a pretty good one actually.

Having a different FOV for different weapons seems like a good idea, but I'm not sure if it's worth the trade-off of having to get used to having different FOV's and sensitivities. I think you should at least get very comfortable with controlling your view with a single FOV and sensitivity first before having to learn how to use multiple ones.
105* @ all weapons

Ok forget my theory!! I tried it ingame and it's nonsense. I took a ruler and measured the distance i have to move my mouse for a 360° turn. If u change your fov but not your sens the way actually remains constant. So just leave your sens as it is when u change your fov. sry guys

sens feels like changing maybe it change, but not much (some mms then).
what matters is with lowfov u get a bigger aiming field.
so u can play with higher sens.
with highfov, u have to aim at the pixel of enemy, so lowsens should be good for u.
btw fov of 115 is good enough for dm17
I played around with some sens values and everything feld awkward besides my old sense. So I took the ruler... Sure u have to aim more precisely with a higher fov, but when u change sens u have to get used to the new sens and that's always bad, because u lose the "feeling" for it...
I am really scared about christmas because of this, because I finally get the G5 then. I hope I'll be able to change the sens accordingly to the higher dpi. But that shouldn't be too much of a problem. I guess if the dpi doubles, I have to half the sens.
