Which crosshair do you use @ useles questions
white dot size 15 @ 1024x768
i used different crosshairs and even FoVs for different weapons before, but now its just fov 110 and plain white dot in the middle, small
question no2:
Smooth mouse works but reducing numbers of sample and calculating an average movement of your cursor, right?
So if you use your usb ports at 125Hz, will your mouse be smother than at say 500 or 1000Hz?
Smooth mouse + higher USB rate is smoother. The sample-reduction or whatever you want to call it from mouse smoothing is pixel by pixel in the game engine, whereas the USB rate is samples from the physical mouse movement - e.g., more data = more accurate tracking.
Hope that makes sense.
LOL, I said wrong crosshair xD I have the one with for lines.. uhm...
-'-
And then a line under there, ya know..
How do u know if that crosshair is no. 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or wtf?
you try typing each crosshair command

cg_drawcrosshair 1-8 if i remember right (didnt checked it)
@orph oh u mean this game? i was just making fun
nope, higher rate mostly fixes the fast hand movement precision.
doesnt matter much and small moves.
does not understan ppl whos kill so fine horizontial and vertical measurement wich standard cross give
@Skullie : yeah thats what i meant+dm17 whers my hard owned secret haha
@Lakitu : go to the options and change ur crosshair then type /cg_drawCrosshair with nothing coming and it will tell you the number.
@Necro : if you take more samples, doesnt the crosshair follow tiny movements of your hand? Like if you dont move your hand in a straight line will the 'non-straightness' be greater with higher usb rate (since every diff to the straight line will be noticed whereas it might not have been at lower rate)?
