Which gaming headset would you buy? Which one is the best for you?
Yes Skull, for example.
With my actual Philips SHP2000 headset (average price ~15€) I only hear two dimensions. For example, if you are in front of me, one floor below or one floor up, I'll dont hear the difference. That's what I want to correct.
More seriously, I'll try headphones, but I'm seeking for one which have a good isolation, and a microphone in extra. A friend had the Sure e5c and it sounded nice, but it dead too early.
Anyway, I'll NOT put 1400€ in hearphones Dark Angel !
I've found the Klipsch Pro Media In-ear, that seems to fit to these criteria.

there is no such 3D positioning in e+, in noghost yes, here not, in 1.32 verision the sound system or something was changed and now we lack on 3d positioning :] thats why sometimes u have that feeling that u think and hear eenmy in all directions and he is up xd or down....ask fala he knows about this better he was noghost player.
try to compare the 1.16 and 1.32 versions with nice 3d positioning and headphones and u will see the difference as i saw it :]

this two headphones, are used in lan partys.
But i know that some gamers use this headphones to cancel the outside noise, but they also use an in ear phones, with better sound quality so they have better sound quality + cancellation noise by hmec
most ppls just use them to cancel the noise when playing on stage but they are using in ears for the sound of ze game
and they use their headsets (steelseries siberia v2 eg) as mic
and on esl events this helicopter phones are must use on stage

playing lan tournement xD
what else for?
it is believed that all the headphones are divided into three categories
1) chinese
2) average
3) normal (expensive > ~$200)
For the latter, obviously, require special equipment or a separate sound card for your computer (about the same price range).
So cool phones - a rather narrow scope.
I myself - have sennheiser rs 8 (wireless) for htpc and sennheise pc 350 for games. Of course, on each computer is a separate sound card (about $ 100 each) and, pil9t', im happy
