post which gaming mice you ever had in your life... i think it may be interesting and funny especially if you write how they died etc Happy

ok, here is my mice history:
1) Razer Diamondback magma

^^ destroyed by one czech punch when i was angry during e+ gameplay. unfortunelly i hit also part with buttons resulting in destroyed the part of PCB with microswitches for main buttons

2) Gigabyte GM-M6880 (it pretty sux - my the first and the last laser mouse)

^^ donated to my friend. later has been destroyed when he was angry (he is angry very often. its hard to say what happened. i guess it was something between him and his gf)

3) Razer DeathAdder 1800dpi

^^ still alive but side buttons must be turned off cos they are randomly automaticly active (its problem when you have it binded)

4) Roccat Kova[+]

^^ still alive but scrolling wheel button doesnt work and scrolling speed isnt constant for some reason - driver bug or smth

5) Logitech G300s (currently in use)

^^ its new so its working pretty well

A4tech X7 , been using this one for 4 years now and it still works fine, which is strange since when i asked some people from e+ about this mouse back in the days when i was planing to buy it, most said how x7 series dies quickly and its low quality mouse. Big grin P.S i don't play any other games than quake 3 , so for a 16 years old game, even this one is luxurious Tongue

Re: Which gaming mice you ever had?

my first ever gaming mice was this little beauty :

had some issues with bad cabling in it before its sensor finally gave up , it still works tho , but has major issues with tracking

2nd was logitech g400 :

had a lot of cable issues aswell , gave it into warranty , never seen it since :DDDD

3rd ms intelli 1.1a :

i still use it , had some issues with double clicking , but i fixed it by opening the omron switch and toying with the spring Smug

4th and final razer deathadder 2013 , what im currently using for quake :

have it for a few weeks now and hoping it lasts Smug not quite used to it yet , my performance is way lower than with the 1.1a cant help it , need to give it a lot more time.

Re: Which gaming mice you ever had?

1st: some wireless shitty logitech, was pain in the ass to play with this...i still remember it like if it was yesterday, but 4 years passed. Mouse still works btw...

2nd: Thx to fala aka animal aka hq etc, i've got an deathadder 1800dpi 3g mice, used for about 3-4 years, ppl told the shape of it was bad, but i've got used to it and really enjoyedp laying with it, till started to notice some trackloss with fast movement having low sens, mouse still works, shines, like if its new.

3rd: one year of usage Zowie FK1, really good mice, the sensor is really good, shape also, was a bit hard for me to get used to this mouse and its shape, since playing with da for about 3-4 years and its big size, my hand got used to it, and jumping into little zowie fk1 was a bit odd for me, but played with it for about 2 weeks and all was fine. Mouse still alive, works fine as first day.

P.S. during the 5 years gaming periode, non of my mices died, they are like new, shining and working Happy cables works great, while not using some of them i put them in their original box, cleaning mice with alcohol after a day of using it, helps a lot to have them clean and without any damadge.
The only thing that dies fast is the mouse feets...(which i have to buy very soon lol)

now when darky mentioned feets, on my x7, feets colapsed after 1st year of playing, but if you have mouse with 4 smallish feet (check the picture below) , the good material to make a new ones without constantly buying is to make them by yourself using a guitar pick Happy i put some old guitar pick and 3 years later they are still there, not worn out Happy

iam using all the time mousepad (we can do a similar topic about mousepads Big grin ) so i never needed to do anything with feets on any mouse. But its true that i never had any mouse longer than 4 years
