the bigger problem is, good players never join a server as first.

our not pb servers get full with nubs, than the better ones joines, make a pb server, u have nobody who begin, expecting me yesterday on lemon server.

Just to clear things with cl_timeNudge.

When cl_timeNudge has a negative value (without unlagged), every entity, except players, is extrapolated earlier. Because those entities have all required information to be extrapolated, it will be all fine and accurate. Players on the other side will move only when the next snapshot arrives and that will happen in sv_fps intervals (they will move like with ex. 20 fps).

Now when xp_unlagged is enabled on the server and cl_timeNudge has a negative value, the player entities will be turned into extrapolating entities and will be extrapolated just like every other entity. There will be still extrapolation errors with high negative values but that will happen only client-side for the player who use the nudge.

A: No, definitely not! As long as xp_unlagged is turned on. If the player is really jerky it has other reasons like packet loss etc. and will happen the same without cl_timeNudge.

I rasied the same sort of question a little time a go and was told I was wrong... However, I have observed the same as you and not just with him but others too. One touch and you're dead - no wounding first! Anyone who says there is no way to speed up the LG etc is wrong since if you get a speed power-up everything goes quicker and that includses the LG - so the game has that in it and it would not be that hard to fix it as a cheat.

But do cheats limit themselves to aimbots? What about simply making yourself harder to hit etc would they not be better and less obvious? I reckon there are all manner of cheats out there.

My view is that E+ has many cheating. It is so open to it - so it happens. Some people simply are that way inlcined. I played UT2004 instagib (mainly CTF and sniper) and never saw the E+ level of cheating there. Sadly, cheats have no concept of 'you lose if you cheat'. They have no honour, no self-respect. Lose and be a wom/man. They spoil an otherwise brilliant game.

Even though i dont know u at all, heres what i think of that. I am pretty sure that he didnt kill someone with lg in 1 second EVERY TIME. You wanna know why he can kill that fast?
1. Someone else has already damaged him very badly and he can be killed with half a mg bullet
2. He first shoved a nice bfg up his ass and then finished the job with his lg in no-time (also knows as 'having brains and use them')

I am very proud of this, i can say since the moment i started quake i have never ever cheated. And still i can handle most of these people most of the time (u know itr suckas). So im not all that 'burn the world, it sucks'-person so i dont believe there are so many cheaters in here.

My solution (omg who cares) Nagyi, turn ur nudging off, promise to never use it again and all unban him! He just wants to play but cant, this is one of the greatest tortures in the world, not being able to play quake (and i can know it)
